Send the details that speed things up
When you send an enquiry, include your name, the area you are travelling from, the event you want help with and whether it is a solo entry or a group booking. If you are arranging a corporate team, add the company name, number of participants, preferred race format and any support you need with waivers or captain communication. The more detail you give, the easier it is for our team to prepare the right reply.
- Full name and contact details
- Town or suburb, such as Hekpoort, Hartbeespoort or Pretoria
- Type of entry: individual, team, corporate or supporter
- Any special requests around briefing, heat allocation or onsite check in
Where our support reaches
We handle enquiries for participants travelling to the Hekpoort Venue and Magaliesburg Venue, as well as visitors coming from Hartbeespoort, Krugersdorp, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Rustenburg and Potchefstroom. If you are making a trip from Cape Town, Durban or Bloemfontein, send your details early so we can guide you on the right registration path and what to expect on arrival.
Our team works with people who are joining their first obstacle race and with regulars who already know the grip of mud, hills and long runs. It helps us to know whether you need a gentler intro, a custom team briefing or support for a larger group.
What we do with a team enquiry
For business groups and club entries, we can assist with corporate entry planning, team registration help, waiver coordination and custom briefing notes. We also help captains keep the group on the same page so the race morning does not turn into a scramble. If you have mixed fitness levels in one team, tell us that upfront and we will factor it into the support we give.
- Group warmup session guidance
- Heat allocation support
- Team photo moments and supporter planning
- Recovery area guidance after the race
Safety, waivers and what to bring
Obstacle racing can be demanding, so every participant should read the safety briefing carefully and complete the waiver before race day. If you have not done hard exercise in a while, check with your doctor first. Bring trail shoes or training shoes with grip, a refillable water bottle, a towel, a change of clothes and any personal items you may need after the finish.
In warm weather and coastal humidity, extra water and a dry shirt help. In winter, a spare layer and warm top are worth packing, especially if you are waiting for teammates. Please do not arrive with loose valuables that you do not want to carry around.
What happens after you write to us
Enquiries sent through the form are handled during business hours. If your message is about a team entry, heat allocation or a late change for a group, give us all the details in one go so we can respond properly without extra back and forth.
During busy race periods, replies may take a little longer, but we do make a point of getting back to you with clear instructions and the next step.
A practical note before you hit send
Send all new contact and entry requests through the form. There is no need to call or send separate messages through other channels. If you are a captain, include the best way to reach you, your team size and any special support you need for your group on race day. That saves time for everyone and helps us keep your arrangements tidy.
